What's the H2C?

Same H2 frame as the H2D, but with Bambu's Vortek hotend-change system. Switches between up to 7 materials with no purge tower, no waste. Whether it delivers on that in the real world is still being tested.

AnnouncedFormnext, November 2025

Traditional multi-material printing wastes 2-5g of filament per color change to flush old color. Vortek is a hotend-change system: 6 swappable hotends plus 1 fixed nozzle give 7 positions, so the printer switches material by changing hotends instead of purging one shared nozzle. No waste tower, no wasted filament. Bambu claims up to 7 materials in one print.
